About this website


This website was operational when Polonea was involved in Polish pottery business. It was a good source of information about Polish pottery, patterns, forms and even Poland.
The website had online shop and nice gallery of pictures showing pottery pieces from different factories.
It also had a forum , that seemed to be very popular and gathered quite a large community of pottery enthusiasts.

What you see now is just a fraction of the old website. Many features has been disabled as out-of-dated, however I left sections that might be still useful - like pottery history, links and Boleslawiec guide.

I am not sure what will happen to the Polonea in the future yet, but I intend to transform it to informative and consultancy site about Polish pottery. I still have few thousands of the pictures in the database, and many other useful information for anyone who is invloved in the pottery business or simply buys it.
It might be interesting also to broadcast news from the factories, or Pottery dealers.
A new forum will probably appear also.
